Easter is fast approaching! I’ve been thumbing through my favorite magazines and websites for side dishes and this recipe popped out at me. I whipped it up tonight and was not disappointed. The tarragon really made this recipe work in my opinion and would be the perfect accompaniment with your main dish. Too much of tarragon can overpower your recipe but with the sugar and butter prepared in this dish, it’s a perfect match. You can’t go wrong with tasty carrots and I prefer to prepare new recipes before a holiday. There’s nothing worse than choosing something new and have it fail miserably as your guests are picking at your dish and passing on seconds. I’m a traditional girl and serve ham, potatoes, green beans and cake. This year, I’m wanting to try something different. I believe this recipe will be on the menu! What’s your family Easter lunch or dinner tradition?
Enjoy!
